Job Description

Job Opportunity: RN – Med Surg in Des Moines, Iowa, for a 13-week temporary contract.

  • Coordinates comprehensive nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
  • Participates in patient and family education.
  • Provides leadership by collaborating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintains professional nursing standards in a clinical setting.
  • Requires 2+ years of Med Surg experience; travel healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must hold an Iowa license and current BLS certification; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel assignments.
  • Work schedule: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts; start date: October 6, 2025.
  • Weekly pay: $2,307; benefits include travel and housing, health insurance, 401(k), professional development, and flexible scheduling.
