Job Description

We are seeking a full-time academic surgical pathologist with subspecialty expertise in thoracic pathology to join our department.

  • The role involves providing diagnostic services, engaging in innovative precision diagnostics (including cancer genomics, multiplex biomarker theranostics, and digital pathology), and supporting clinical trials and translational research.
  • Candidates should have strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with molecular diagnostics (NGS, FISH), and an interest in developing pathology’s role in clinical research.
  • Board certification in Pathology (AP or AP/CP) is required; certification in Molecular Pathology is a plus.
  • The position offers opportunities for research funding, teaching, and collaboration within a leading academic environment.
  • The appointment is at an academic rank appropriate to experience, with support for research programs, especially for those with NIH funding.
