Job Description

The Lead Physician position is a full-time, probationary role within the Student Health & Wellness Services, part of the Student Affairs division.

  • Offers a salary range of $12,515 to $21,255 per month, with an anticipated hiring range of $12,515 to $15,428 per month.
  • Works Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is open until filled.
  • Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating students, providing patient-centered care, counseling, and coordinating with other health professionals.
  • Serves as an administrative leader, overseeing clinical staff, credentialing, policy development, and risk management.
  • Participates in specialty clinics, community resource assessments, and campus health initiatives.
  • Qualifications include a medical degree, residency in a relevant specialty, a valid California medical license, ABMS or AOA certification, DEA registration, and CPR/AED certification.
  • Preferred experience includes public health, adolescent medicine, laboratory work, x-ray certification, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
