Job Description
Supports and coordinates daily nursing operations in patient care units, providing direction to clinical staff and ensuring smooth unit functioning.
Implements patient care plans, manages contingencies, and delegates responsibilities to team members. Ensures proper staffing, maintains compliance with policies, and documents operational activities. Provides patient and family communication, promotes respectful care, and resolves conflicts among staff and departments. Develops leadership skills through coaching, performance monitoring, and feedback. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), 2+ years of clinical experience, and active RN licensure. Required certifications include BLS; ACLS and other advanced certifications are obtained within specified time frames. Experience in critical care preferred; new graduates considered. Work schedule is 5 days, 8-hour shifts; full-time position.
