Join our team as a Speech-Language Therapist in a compassionate and positive healthcare environment!
Provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, treatment plans, family education, and documentation. Communicate patient needs and progress to patients, their families, caregivers, and healthcare team members. Initiate evaluations based on medical orders and develop tailored treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes. Educate staff and other professionals on intervention benefits and outcomes. Complete all documentation accurately, including evaluations, progress notes, and reports. Screen individuals for potential therapeutic benefit and ensure safety at all times. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and develop new programs. Utilize EMR and rehab systems for documentation. Qualifications include a degree in Speech and Language Pathology, active licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably experience in skilled nursing facilities.
