Job Description

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides routine care, ensuring the comfort and safety of Sisters by performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and other delegated procedures.

  • Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe environment, supporting Sisters in spiritual, social, grooming, and therapeutic activities, and accurately documenting physiological, cognitive, and sensory data.
  • The CNA collaborates with healthcare teams, adheres to infection control and safety protocols, and manages supplies efficiently.
  • They are expected to demonstrate excellent communication, patience, emotional maturity, and respect for privacy and confidentiality.
  • Participation in ongoing education, team meetings, and providing feedback for continuous improvement are essential.
  • The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current Texas CNA certification, BLS certification, and preferably gerontology experience.
  • Shifts are available across all times, part-time, with a maximum of 1250 hours annually.
