Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides routine care, ensuring the comfort and safety of Sisters by performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and other delegated procedures.
Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe environment, supporting Sisters in spiritual, social, grooming, and therapeutic activities, and accurately documenting physiological, cognitive, and sensory data. The CNA collaborates with healthcare teams, adheres to infection control and safety protocols, and manages supplies efficiently. They are expected to demonstrate excellent communication, patience, emotional maturity, and respect for privacy and confidentiality. Participation in ongoing education, team meetings, and providing feedback for continuous improvement are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current Texas CNA certification, BLS certification, and preferably gerontology experience. Shifts are available across all times, part-time, with a maximum of 1250 hours annually.
