Job Description

– Staffing Model: Days-3 physicians/1 NP or PA; Nights-1 physician with NP/PA swing shifts
– Daily census averages 68-73 patients across 146 hospital beds
– Day shifts: Physician 7a-7p, NP/PA 7a-5p; Night shifts: Physician 7p-7a, NP/PA swing 10a-10p
– Open ICU with 10 beds
– Procedures include ventilator management, intubation, and central line placement
– Collegial work environment managed by the emergency department
– Internal Medicine residency program; new graduates welcomed
– Requirements: ABIM or ABFM certification; hospitalist experience of at least 1 year preferred
– Benefits: $26k value package, malpractice including tail coverage, attractive bonus for full-time
– Compensation: $388,800-$400,000 annually
