Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides routine care to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of Sisters, focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs) and other procedures within their scope.
Maintains a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety, and age-related care best practices.
Collaborates with staff and departments to support the organization’s mission, demonstrating leadership qualities.
Assists Sisters with personal care, encourages participation in activities, and reports observations to licensed nurses.
Manages supplies, maintains equipment, and reports maintenance needs while using resources responsibly.
Participates in ongoing education, team meetings, and supports new staff orientation.
Respects Sisters’ privacy, confidentiality, and care preferences, ensuring dignity and respect.
Follows organizational policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, current CNA and BLS certification, with gerontology experience preferred.
Work schedule is PRN, per diem, as needed, not exceeding 1250 characters.
