Job Description
This Social Worker role involves providing assessment, emotional support, and intervention services to pediatric patients and their families, focusing on their social, emotional, and physical needs.
Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, make referrals, and coordinate services.
Conducts patient assessments, identifies barriers to treatment, and offers counseling and education to help families cope with illness and treatment options.
Maintains detailed records, documents case activities, and evaluates the quality of care provided.
Provides consultation and training to healthcare staff on cultural and economic issues affecting patient care.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work (MSW), at least 2 years of relevant experience, and preferably an active LCSW license in California.
Requires strong assessment, counseling, and resource management skills, with the ability to handle caseloads in outpatient or hospital settings.
This position offers a salary range of $47.45 to $56.94 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications, and values diversity and equal opportunity.
