Job Description
The RN Supervisor oversees the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care, supporting the Director in analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services.
Responsibilities include supervising nursing activities, managing resources, and fostering continuous improvement in operational, financial, and clinical areas. Ensures adherence to policies, monitors patient outcomes, and promotes staff development. Collaborates with other departments to meet quality, safety, and service goals. Maintains daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with standards and enhancing patient satisfaction. Supports strategic planning and contributes to creating an environment of clinical excellence and safety. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred for Magnet facilities), at least 2 years of clinical experience, prior supervisory or management experience preferred, and BLS certification. Must hold an active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
