Job Description
This role supports registered or licensed nurses by assisting with routine patient care and clerical tasks in a nursing unit.
Responsibilities include helping with patient admission, transfer, and discharge, preparing rooms, and ensuring patient belongings accompany them. Safely transports stable patients, maintains confidentiality, and manages equipment and supplies. Performs unit-specific care tasks, monitors patient conditions, and reports any changes promptly. Assists with stocking, organizing supplies, and responding to emergencies. Communicates effectively with team members, responds to patient calls, and adapts care to meet individual patient needs. Demonstrates competence in providing safe, comfortable, and culturally sensitive care. Adheres to competency expectations related to self-leadership and teamwork.
Job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), CNA license, BLS certification, and patient care experience in acute settings (preferred). The schedule is from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
