Job Description

Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent cases.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to aid diagnosis.
  • Prescribe treatments, medications, vaccines, and provide referrals to specialists.
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedics, and explain procedures and results to patients.
  • Document findings and treatment plans in patient charts within 24-48 hours.
  • Manage communications for events as needed.
  • Physicians provide medical orders, supervision, and consultation, and review charts. They also assist during emergencies via telecommunication.
  • Handle special projects and duties; position is safety-sensitive.
  • Qualifications include an accredited medical, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant degree; current licensure; board certification for NPs; DEA; and BLS certification.
  • Preferred minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Skills include knowledge of medical coding, regulations (OSHA, HIPAA), and proficiency with PC applications; ability to supervise staff.
