Job Description

Position seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant) to deliver high-quality urgent care services in a fast-paced environment.

  • Performs comprehensive physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent patients.
  • Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging to aid diagnosis.
  • Prescribes treatments, medications, vaccinations, and performs procedures like laceration repair and orthopedics.
  • Explains procedures, discusses test results, and documents findings and treatment plans timely.
  • Manages communication for events as needed and collaborates with physicians for medical orders, supervision, and emergencies.
  • Maintains licensure and certification, including board certification for Nurse Practitioners, and complies with regulations like OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience; strong skills in medical coding, billing, and supervision of staff.
  • Proficient in PC applications, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work under pressure.
