Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CTS PA/NP to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Lake Charles, LA, offering a salary range of $140,000-$150,000 based on experience.

  • Collaborate with two NPs and board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons utilizing advanced technology for heart, lung, and foregut/esophageal diseases.
  • Work in a facility with a Hybrid OR, performing TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Participate in a comprehensive cardiology and cardiac surgery program, supported by advanced post-op monitoring and a multidisciplinary thoracic oncology initiative.
  • Engage in surgery assistance, outpatient and inpatient care, including rounding, assessments, vein harvesting, and assisting with CABG and valve surgeries.
  • Perform invasive procedures (training provided), manage inpatient care, and handle pre/post-op evaluations.
  • Must possess current BLS/ACLS, an active Louisiana PA license or eligibility, and at least 5 years of cardiac surgical experience.
  • Robotic surgery experience is a plus but training will be provided.
  • Shift rotations include 24/7 service with shared call, night shifts, and weekends.
