Job Description
This position involves providing high-quality urgent care services as an Advanced Practice Provider, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent conditions. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and images to inform diagnoses. Diagnose and treat illnesses by prescribing medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other medical interventions. Perform procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedic interventions, and refer patients to specialists when needed. Communicate test results and treatment plans clearly to patients and document findings promptly within 24-48 hours. Manage communications for events and provide medical orders, supervision, and consultation as needed. Maintain licensure, certifications, and adhere to regulations like OSHA and HIPAA. Possess strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and common PC applications. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, are compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
