Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality urgent care services as an Advanced Practice Provider, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

  • Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and images to inform diagnoses.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses by prescribing medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other medical interventions.
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedic interventions, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
  • Communicate test results and treatment plans clearly to patients and document findings promptly within 24-48 hours.
  • Manage communications for events and provide medical orders, supervision, and consultation as needed.
  • Maintain licensure, certifications, and adhere to regulations like OSHA and HIPAA.
  • Possess strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and common PC applications.
  • Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, are compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
