Job Description
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Adheres to regulatory, licensing, certification, and accreditation guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Requires a Master’s Degree and licensure as a Speech Pathologist in the state of practice. Preferred: two years of speech language pathology experience and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Must have CPR/BLS certification. Reviews patient information, conducts comprehensive assessments, and assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs/supports staff and supervises assistants as per practice acts. Participates in organizational safety policies, including required vaccinations.
