Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care to clinic patients under supervision, within the scope of practice defined by education and licensure.

  • Responsibilities include performing assessments, diagnostics, treatments, health education, and disease prevention for adolescents and children.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, refer patients as needed, and maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Practice independently and in partnership with medical staff, utilizing protocols and authorization mechanisms.
  • Prescribe medications, perform advanced procedures, and participate in ongoing education, research, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational values, strategic goals, and performance improvement plans.
  • Qualifications include current licensure in Louisiana, DEA registration, BLS certification, excellent communication skills, and bilingual abilities preferred.
  • This full-time position involves working five 8-hour days.
