Job Description

The Therapist role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy, along with psychoeducational activities in a residential treatment setting.

  • Ensure patient orientation upon admission and gather relevant history.
  • Develop and update personalized treatment plans, including discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with community sources and develop contact and therapy plans.
  • Utilize patient-centered interventions, motivational interviewing, and rapport-building techniques.
  • Document treatment sessions and progress accurately.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, along with licensure in a mental health discipline. Supervision is available for limited licensure. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills, and demonstrate cultural competence and confidentiality awareness.
