Job Description
The Mid-Level Provider (NP/PA) independently delivers comprehensive, evidence-based patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling, documented via Athenahealth EHR.
Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, active Texas license, accredited program graduation, and certification exams (e.g., ANCC, PANCE).
Minimum one year of relevant experience, strong communication, organizational, and tech skills, bilingual in English and Spanish, BLS certified, and able to work autonomously.
Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnostic testing, procedures, health education, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Focuses on patient-centered quality, safety, excellent customer service, positive practice environment, and business management (billing, inventory, etc.).
Works independently, prioritizes tasks, maintains professionalism, and pursues ongoing education.
