Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor

Job Description

This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on nursing and supervisory responsibilities as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm).
It entails planning, developing, and overseeing person-centered care programs, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key duties include coordinating resident care, managing medication administration, maintaining resident files, and ensuring effective communication with residents, families, and medical providers.
Responsibilities also encompass staffing, hiring, training, and participating in safety and committee activities.
The role requires a current RN license, CPR certification, experience in long-term care and dementia care, and leadership with at least six staff members. Flexibility for on-call hours, occasional travel, and work on weekends is essential.
