Job Description

Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 independent contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate on treatment planning.

Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues; support psychiatric and nursing staff.

Complete documentation, participate in medical rounds, and be available for urgent consultations.

Travel twice monthly to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations.

Requirements: Active CA license, DEA registration, experience in behavioral health preferred, professional liability insurance, strong communication skills, compassionate team player.

Compensation: $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, $1,500/month stipend per facility; 5–10 hours/week, part-time, on-site only.
