NURSE PRACTITIONER-INFECTIOUS DISEASE

Job Description

We are seeking an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (IDNP) in Morrison, IL, for full-time or part-time onsite multi-facility rounds.

_Role Overview:_
You’ll combine clinical expertise with patient-centered care, serving as a strategic partner in infection prevention and control. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, supporting infection control and antimicrobial stewardship, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

– Competitive pay: $50/hour, $104,000–$120,000 annually with incentives

_Key Responsibilities:_
– Perform physical exams and monitor patient conditions
– Prescribe medications and tailor treatment plans
– Develop care policies and facilitate referrals
– Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively
– Collaborate with teams to improve outcomes and prevent complications

_Qualifications:_
– Current NP license
– Master’s Degree in Nursing
– 2+ years experience preferred, especially in infectious disease, geriatrics, or adult medicine
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to travel within a 20-25 mile radius
