Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Per Diem

Job Description

Per diem NP/PA position at a reputable nonprofit organization serving those impacted by substance use disorder.

Responsibilities include interviewing and examining patients, diagnosing, prescribing medication, ordering tests, and consulting with physicians. Tasks may also involve supervising staff, reviewing records, and participating in treatment planning and counseling.

Requirements: Graduate degree from an accredited program, NYS licensure, and ability to complete continuing education. Strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records are essential. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, be drug-free, and pass background and drug screening.

Work is in-person, part-time, from $65/hour, with 8-35 hours weekly, supporting a CARF and NHSC accredited organization committed to excellence in addiction services.
