Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing Speech/Language Pathology treatments per physician referrals to restore function and prevent disability.
Participates in performance improvement, documents patient care, and develops tailored treatment plans, including patient and family education.
Performs assessments such as swallowing exams, collaborates with healthcare teams, and ensures patient needs are met with respect and cultural sensitivity.
Maintains departmental records, supports safety and infection control programs, and contributes to departmental training.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric patients.
Requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and physical ability to perform duties. The role is full-time, based in Ironton, OH, with benefits and scheduled for an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend as needed.
