Physician – Obstetrics – Part-Time

Job Description

The Staff Obstetrics Physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and referring to specialists as needed.

They see approximately 20 patients daily, manage walk-ins, and handle afterhours calls via phone, with a rotating schedule every 7-8 weeks.

Key responsibilities include ensuring quality patient care, documenting thoroughly, adhering to ACOG guidelines, supervising NP/PAs, and participating in meetings and committees.

Qualifications require an MD/DO, valid California medical license, ABOG or ACOOG certification, and residency completion. Preferred experience includes ambulatory care, patient-centered models, and medical Spanish skills.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, along with proficiency in electronic health records and compliance standards, are essential.
