Job Description

Seeking a *Primary Care Physician* in *Jena, LA* to oversee clinical operations at an ICE detention facility.

Provide direct medical care to detainees of all ages, including assessments, follow-ups, and emergency responses.

Serve as on-site medical authority, coordinating healthcare delivery and supervising medical staff and advanced practice providers.

Review and approve referrals, conduct daily rounds, and ensure documentation compliance.

Maintain licensure, certifications, and training requirements, adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards.

Participate in quality improvement activities and facility meetings.

Requirements include an MD or DO degree, licensure in the state, DEA certification, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience. Preferred experience in correctional or detention healthcare.
