Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor – Detox Center

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling and support to individuals in a detox facility.

Conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques like CBT and MI.

Monitor client progress, adjust treatment as needed, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic care.

Maintain confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and stay current with best practices in substance abuse treatment.

Requirements: Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Behavioral Health or related field; relevant certification/licensure; experience in substance abuse counseling; knowledge of behavioral therapies and co-occurring disorders; strong communication skills; ability to work in a team and adhere to confidentiality standards.
