Behavioral Health Professional LMHC/LMSW/LCSW – Full Time – Kingston, NY

Job Description

Seeking a full-time *Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)* or *Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW)* for a correctional mental health role at a jail in Kingston, NY. This 40-hour/week position (Monday–Friday) offers a salary of $60,000–$75,000, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more.

Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, risk evaluations, serving as a mental health liaison, facilitating inmate admissions, monitoring services for quality compliance, and providing education and reports. Candidates must have a Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, valid NY licensure, and at least two years of experience, preferably with substance abuse/MAT counseling. Reliable transportation and relocation to Kingston are required.
