Job Description
This part-time Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner role involves providing primary diagnostic and therapeutic care across various settings, including clinics, homes, and hospitals.
Follows a school schedule with summers off and offers additional summer work in health centers. Requires licensure, certification, and effective collaboration with patients, families, and community organizations. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing, managing common illnesses, ordering tests, performing minor procedures, and counseling patients. Participates in quality improvement, community health planning, and emergency preparedness activities. Maintains confidentiality, adheres to policies, and completes ongoing education.
Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Requires relocation to Marathon, NY, before starting work.
