Job Description

Join a dedicated home health team as a *Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)*, providing compassionate speech therapy services in patients’ homes across Southeast Michigan. This role involves evaluating and treating patients according to physician plans, assisting in assessments, setting goals, and educating patients and families to promote independence.   • Provide speech pathology or audiology services aligned with treatment plans and demonstrate competency regularly.
  • Assist physicians in assessing patient functioning and developing or revising care plans.
  • Document patient responses, report changes, and communicate with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on speech therapy techniques and disease prevention.
  • Recommend hearing tests when needed and check hearing aids.

    • Requirements include an active Michigan Speech Therapy license, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. Preferred experience in home health care. The role involves travel for home visits and participation in in-service programs, with competitive hourly pay and mileage reimbursement.
