Job Description
The Speech Therapist provides evaluative and rehabilitative services for patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with a treatment plan signed by a physician.
Requires completion of an accredited speech therapy program and a valid California license. Must have BLS certification, with at least two years of experience in acute hospital, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings, especially with swallowing disorders. Skills include strong evaluation, treatment, documentation, communication, and organizational abilities, along with competency in diagnostic tools. This per diem role offers $60-$75/hour, with benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and flexible scheduling.
Work is in person, serving patients across developmental stages in a long-term acute care hospital setting.
