Job Description
Seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. This position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams on non-surgical and surgical treatments for orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management is also required.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Candidates must have medical malpractice insurance.
