Job Description
Provide supervised healthcare services as a Nurse Practitioner, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care.
Obtain medical histories and conduct physical exams. Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage chronic diseases and risk factors. Document medical information accurately and maintain compliance with standards. Perform quality screenings and prescribe rehabilitation therapies. Educate patients for informed healthcare decisions and refer to specialists as needed. Provide care in hospital and office settings, prescribe medications per physician instructions, and ensure legal compliance. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, NP certification, and cardiology experience. Requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and NP license in Georgia. Effective communication skills are essential. Work environment involves light to moderate physical activity and exposure to some hazards.
