Job Description
This part-time, contract position requires an MD or DO with a valid NYS license and ACLS certification to provide anesthesia services for ECT treatments at a psychiatric center.
Work involves assessing patients, inducing anesthesia, and documenting evaluations per CMS standards. Scheduled for 10 hours/week over two days, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Responsibilities include direct patient contact, consultation with prescribers, and participation in required trainings. Qualifications include bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. Compensation is $225/hour, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and relocation assistance. In-person work at the location with adherence to federal and state regulations is required.
