Job Description
Provides healthcare services to patients under a physician’s supervision, including conducting physical exams and gathering medical data.
Performs diagnostic tests, interprets results, and administers therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
Develops patient management plans, documents progress, and supports continuity of care.
Educates and counsels patients on treatment adherence, growth, development, family planning, and health maintenance.
Follows up on messages, prescriptions, and test results to ensure timely patient care.
Supervises clinic personnel in delegated medical care duties.
Qualifications include current Texas RN and APRN-NP licensure, specialty certification, BLS certification within 30 days, and a master’s degree in nursing or equivalent with post-master certification.
