Nocturnist Hospitalist for a Philadelphia Health System

Job Description

Seeking 2 Nocturnist physicians for a Philadelphia hospitalist program on locums basis.

• Open to MD/DO candidates with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training and inpatient experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), 1 week on, 1 week off, totaling approximately 15 shifts or flexible split among providers.
• Responsibilities include managing open/closed ICU, performing procedures like central lines, and providing high-quality inpatient care.
• Requirements include active PA license, DEA, BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and US work authorization (citizens, green card, or authorized). H1B candidates are eligible.
• Physical demands involve stamina for prolonged standing, emergency movements, lifting, and fine motor skills.
• Compensation starts at $270,000/year, with malpractice coverage included. Some travel (25%) preferred.
