Job Description
The Music Therapist provides evidence-based music interventions to promote emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being in a psychiatric behavioral health setting.
They assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group sessions using various music therapy techniques.
Documentation of progress and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members are essential.
Qualifications include a degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program, MT-BC certification, and Washington State licensing (effective January 2025).
Minimum one year of clinical experience in behavioral health is preferred.
The role offers a pay range of $30.00-$45.00 per hour, with 40 hours weekly, and includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
Work is conducted in person.
