Job Description

The Charge Nurse supervises nursing care, ensuring residents receive quality care per physician orders during their shift.

  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Completes accurate documentation promptly
  • Supervises staff, evaluates performance, and manages personnel issues
  • Follows care plans and reports abnormal findings or concerns
  • Oversees shift operations and staffing
  • Participates in in-service education and adheres to infection control and safety protocols

    • Requirements include a current RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and CPR certification preferred.
