Multi Systemic Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate mental health professional to provide multi-systemic therapy to juvenile offenders with severe mental illness, violent behavior, or substance abuse issues, at risk of out-of-home placement.

Responsibilities include conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, preparing court reports, offering crisis intervention, and providing transportation as needed. Availability by phone outside regular hours is required.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline

Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, or LPC)

Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements and become fully licensed within 30 months

1-2 years’ experience working with children/adolescents with serious mental illness or antisocial behaviors

Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational skills, and reliable transportation for home visits
