California Psychiatrist (General Adult 24 hrs/wk)

Job Description

This is a fully remote telepsychiatry position requiring current CA licensure at application time, with no in-person duties.

We have been specializing in telepsychiatry since 2008, offering high-quality mental health care with excellent malpractice coverage and a supportive team.

We seek a part-time psychiatrist (24 hrs/week) to provide outpatient care for county severely mentally ill adults, working weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. No evenings, weekends, or on-call is required.

Applicants must hold an active CA MD/DO license, DEA registrable in CA, be board-certified or eligible, and have county mental health experience. Fluency in English is required; Spanish or other languages are a plus.

Work is contract-based (1099), with a secure platform, staff support, and guaranteed scheduled time. Compensation ranges from $249,000 to $287,000 annually.

Interested candidates should have at least 4 years of post-residency county behavioral health experience, and must meet all licensure and certification requirements.
