Job Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner role involves providing comprehensive care across all life stages, emphasizing wellness, prevention, and management of minor and stable chronic conditions.

Deliver clinical care in ambulatory clinics, including exams, screenings, and prenatal care in coordination with physicians.

Conduct health education tailored to age and condition in various community settings.

Participate in quality improvement, epidemiological initiatives, and develop the annual health plan.

Maintain documentation, manage patient charts, and serve as a preceptor for students.

Meet licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, current RN license, board certification, and a community health focus.
