Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles.
Conducts assessments, supports treatment planning, and aids clients in achieving recovery goals.Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction issues; educates high-risk populations; and connects clients with community resources.Assists with funding options, employment, education, and rebuilding relationships.Maintains accurate records, collaborates internally and externally, and ensures compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.Familiar with ASAM criteria; completes treatment plans and assessments.This full-time role requires in-person work, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Prior SUD experience and relevant licensure are preferred.
