Job Description

The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles.

  • Conducts assessments, supports treatment planning, and aids clients in achieving recovery goals.
  • Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction issues; educates high-risk populations; and connects clients with community resources.
  • Assists with funding options, employment, education, and rebuilding relationships.
  • Maintains accurate records, collaborates internally and externally, and ensures compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
  • Familiar with ASAM criteria; completes treatment plans and assessments.

  • This full-time role requires in-person work, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Prior SUD experience and relevant licensure are preferred.
