Job Description

We are seeking an experienced *Addiction Counselor Supervisor* to lead our behavioral health team in Baltimore, MD.

  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to ADT staff to ensure quality care and compliance with standards like COMAR and CARF.
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Review and approve assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for clinical accuracy.
  • Conduct supervision meetings, case consultations, and staff evaluations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
  • Assist with program development, staff training, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards per regulations.
  • Participate in meetings and continuing education for professional growth.

    • Requirements include Maryland licensure (e.g., LCADC, LCPC), at least 2 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder counseling, supervisory approval, and strong knowledge of standards and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are essential.
