Job Description

The Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential personal care and support to residents in a nursing home setting, promoting their well-being and independence.

Attend to residents’ grooming, hygiene, nutrition, mobility, elimination, psychosocial, and safety needs based on individualized care plans.

Support residents in self-care and assist those unable to care for themselves.

Follow infection control, safety standards, and universal precautions in all tasks.

Build meaningful relationships to enhance residents’ psychosocial health.

Requirements include certification or equivalent training, strong communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and flexibility for various shifts.
