Job Description

The speech-language pathologist (SLP) assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children. They provide family and caregiver training and collaborate with other professionals.

Reports to a Clinical Director, with flexible full- or part-time hours, primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current Michigan licensure, and eligibility for Clinical Fellowship or CCC. Prior pediatric experience and insurance credentialing are preferred.

Responsibilities involve working with children with diverse disorders, leading summer programs, and participating in a multidisciplinary team. The center offers a play-based environment with specialized spaces for therapy.
