Job Description
Seeking a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist to provide communication services at a school in Chestnut Ridge, NY, with an adapted Waldorf curriculum tailored for students with social, sensory, and developmental challenges.
- Deliver center-based therapy to children from kindergarten to 21 years old with speech/language delays, autism, apraxia, and related needs.
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement evidence-based intervention strategies using play, verbal, sign, and AAC methods.
- Educate staff and families on therapy techniques and adapt equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in training, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NY licensure, TSSH/TSSLD certification, and at least 2 years of pediatric experience.
