Speech Therapist ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Job Description

This exempt position offers a starting salary of $80,089, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Responsible for managing daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Address communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders.

Assess swallowing function for dysphagia patients.

Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

MS in Speech and Language Pathology with certification and Oklahoma licensure.

Experience in neurorehabilitation, preferably with traumatic brain injury patients; dysphagia experience is a plus.

Knowledge of neurogenic communication disorders, rehabilitation, and behavior management.

Physical Requirements: Ability to read, write, stand, walk long distances, and lift at least 65 lbs.
