Job Description

Growing wound care company in Newport News, VA seeks an energetic Nurse Practitioner focused on positivity, learning, and patient outcomes.


  • Must have wound care experience and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Prior primary care and wound care experience is a plus.
  • Conducts diagnostics, reviews medical history, formulates treatment plans, and prescribes medications.
  • Provides compassionate patient care with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Requires travel in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) and scheduled hours with routine and new patients.
  • Must be Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of wound care and NP experience.
  • Highly recommended certifications include WCC, CWON, or CWS.
  • Full-time position with no weekend shifts, earning up to $180,000/year plus benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k).
  • Opportunity for a sign-on bonus and reimbursement for wound care certification.
