Job Description

The Advance Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive nursing and medical services to family planning clients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management.

Essential duties include implementing policies, obtaining client histories, counseling, conducting screenings, reviewing lab results, and educating on reproductive health and contraceptive options.

They prescribe contraceptives and medications per guidelines, document appropriately, and assist in developing program policies.

The role requires knowledge of Illinois reporting statutes related to abuse and violence.

Work is conducted in collaboration with the Medical Director under a Collaborative Practice Agreement.

Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions are available, with a salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 annually.

Must hold current, unrestricted Illinois prescriptive authority and be able to work in person in Danville, IL.
