Job Description
Seeking a full-time APP to join a nephrology team, working collaboratively with nephrologists across clinic, inpatient, and dialysis settings.
Assess, diagnose, and manage kidney diseases through history, examinations, diagnostics, and develop personalized treatment plans including medications and lifestyle counseling.
Provide outpatient care for chronic kidney disease and hypertension patients.
Perform inpatient evaluations and management for acute kidney injury and electrolyte disorders, collaborating with supervising physicians.
Conduct weekly dialysis rounds, addressing complications and coordinating with dialysis staff.
Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include current licensure as NP or PA in Kentucky, certification in Adult or Family Practice or NCCPA, with nephrology or dialysis experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
